CrossFit workouts are typically shorter in duration than other styles of gym. They involve a combination of weightlifting, gymnastics, and cardio exercises, performed at a high intensity.
Our classes are conducted in groups, which can create a supportive and motivating environment. The group setting pushes you to work harder than you might on your own.
CrossFit OG has an amazing sense of community, with many members forming close friendships with each other. This creates a sense of fun, accountability and camaraderie that will help keep you motivated and excited for the next class.
You don't have to be fit to start, workouts can be scaled to accommodate any fitness level. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced athlete, the workouts can be modified to suit your needs. Most people scale the workouts, but there will always be a challenge to work towards, meaning you will never get bored.
Our coaches live & breathe CrossFit and are passionate about emphasising proper form and technique, which helps reduce the risk of injury during exercise. We provide guidance and support to ensure that everyone is performing the exercises safely and effectively.
Focus on Functional Movements: CrossFit workouts focus on functional movements, which are movements that mimic real-life activities. These movements can help improve your ability to perform everyday tasks, such as lifting objects, squatting down, and reaching overhead. This means you'll be best prepared for unseen challenges, like opening a tight jar, trying wakeboarding with your friends, getting back on the mountain bike or simply running around with the grandkids without feeling out of breath- and doing it all again the next day.
CrossFit workouts are constantly varied, meaning that you will very rarely do the same workout twice, and you'll always be learning new movements. Like learning new tricks on the monkey bars or trampoline as a kid, you'll always be keen to progress to the next challenge and surprise yourself with how quickly you improve. We promise you will never be bored!
CrossFit workouts are designed to improve your overall fitness, including strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, and coordination. By participating in CrossFit, you can improve your physical abilities and overall health.


We have observed that nearly every measurable value of health can be placed on a continuum that ranges from sickness to wellness to fitness. Examples of such values include blood pressure, body-fat percentage, heart rate, and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels, and mental health.
Done right, fitness provides a great margin of protection against the ravages of time and disease. Where you find otherwise, examine the fitness protocol, especially diet. Fitness is, and should be, “super-wellness.”
We don’t know what’s gonna happen in life, because life happens for all of us, and we have no control over it, but … there are certain things that we do have control over, and if we can use those things that we have control over to push us to fitness, we’re creating the best line of defence for ourselves when something goes awry.
